The fee covers transportation from Iguazú Airport to the hotel and back at designated dates and hours,
conference kit, book of abstracts, welcome reception, coffee breaks, conference banquet, and free-afternoon tour.
Due to the character of the Symposium and to the conditions imposed by some of our sponsoring agencies, reduced fees
based on the above values may be considered, on request, for colleagues who work and have permanent residence in Latin
American countries.
The official hotel is the Esturion (four stars, Iguazú)
where the Symposium will be held. As already mentioned in our Second Circular, Iguazú has a very high touristic
demand at the time of our Symposium. In view of this circumstance and to secure the accomodation and additional
facilities, the organization had to sign a contract with the hotel and make a down payment subject to strict conditions
concerning cancellation. This early reservation has allowed us to obtain favorable prices for the participants.
The package reserved was dimensioned on the basis of the pre-registered participants and it is now being offered on a
first-come-first-served basis. Those participants wishing to make use of this package (something which we strongly
encourage) are requested to consolidate their reservations by paying at least US$ 135
before August 15th (for details of payments, see
MEANS OF PAYMENT below).
This amount represents 50% of the total cost of lodging per person for the five days of the Symposium
(US$ 270) calculated on the basis of double-room occupancy, and it includes buffet
breakfast, taxes, parking and safety box. The remaining amount must be paid before
September 27th.
Due to the restrictions in room availability we kindly ask participants to adhere to double-room occupancy if by all
means possible.
Refunds of registration fees in case of cancellation will be as follows:

For your convenience the registration fees and the hotel reservations of more than one participant and accompanying
person can be paid in a single bank-transfer operation. Please make sure that "SLAFNAP-6" and your name be
specified as a comment for the transfer. We also ask you to keep the bank-transfer receipt until the end of the Symposium.
